This post has been a long time coming! I have finally finished reorganizing my closet space. It was pretty bad before... clothes, shoes, purses, and random junk just all over the place. It feels so good to walk into my closet now!
I donated all the purses I don't use anymore and stored the rest away in this purple clear tote.
I did the same thing with my shoes and organized them with this shoe rack. Can you believe I got rid of over 30 pairs of shoes?!
Everything up top got thrown into boxes. I have a tote for renfest stuff, a bunch of feather boas (don't ask why), and a box for all my scarves.
I hung up my vintage silk kimono so as to admire it more often.
I've saved the best for last! I deco'ed a cork board and put up mag clippings. This is my inspiration board! This is some thing fun and easy to update.
Anyone else have any luck with cleaning out their closet?

Jewelry Gets
I went to trader's village in Houston and scored a some sweet stuff! Trader's village is a big open air market with tons of people selling anything imaginable. I literally spent all day there and barely saw everything.
This my "CC" necklace. It's so pretty! I highly doubt this is Chanel, but I love it anyway. ^_^
This is my favorite purchase: a matching ring and necklace set of Choco Cat!
Hee hee... I love anything deco.
I haven't worn the Choco Cat yet... but soon! Very soon.... :)

More Nail Deco
I cannot rave enough about the Sinful Colors nail polish line! This stuff is fabulous, and very inexpensive (only $2 a bottle at Target)!
Here is my most recent change. I put down a black base coat, and then topped it off with a couple of coats of "Nail Junkie" from the Sinful Colors line. Here is a pic of the polish bottle. So sparkly! How can you resist?!
While the polish is still tacky, I put on my top coat. Then immediately, add your jewels. I chose to alternate between small and large, and light blue and dark teal. Here is the finished results!
I wore these nails with a black and white outfit accented by teal tights. (see my birthday outfit here)
Marvelous, yes?

Super MAC Haul - PIC HEAVY
OK - so I got a bonus at work and spent it all on goodies for myself! This is my first MAC purchase, and I went overboard. ^_^ But I'm so happy with everything I got! How can a Gal resist a sale?
I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

My Birthday Adventure!
My dear husband ran me all over town on my birthday! :) We did a bit of shopping, and there is definitely more to come.
Here is the outfit I wore out. :) I feel like this is the first 100% successful coordinate I've done. (I stole this pose from Mistu's blog, where a shop staff girl was doing a "curvy girl" pose.)

OUT WITH THE OLD!
AND IN WITH THE NEW!
I've been very busy demolishing my closet and giving it a total makeover. I'm getting rid of lots of old stuff to make room for Gal. :)
I guess you could describe my old style as... scene wannabe but really just plain and kinda lame? I'm in the process of a full transition to Gal! lol... wish me luck!
So here is a peek into how my style is evolving. I've taken pics of a few of the old stuff, and what has replaced it. :)
First up, I had a sweater zip up vest thing with unicorns and rainbows. Fun to go out in, but it makes me look like a scene wannabe. bleh...
So instead, I now have a sweet leather vest for my "rock" look! Yay!

PLEASE CRITIQUE AND GIVE AN HONEST OPINION!!!
Please ignore my shiny face and double chin, lol...

Nail Deco - simple
Just a quick post for everyone. ^_^
I re-did my nail deco a few days ago to something more simple and sturdy. My last design lost a few rhinestones. :(
This time, I painted my nails with a peach pick base and covered with three coats of pink glitter polish. While the polish was still wet, I placed a large clear rhinestone into each nail. Then, I went around the edges of the stone with a clear top coat.
This turned out very well as I haven't lost any jewels yet!
I used pink ocean in the sinful colors polish line - my new favorite brand! Only $2 a bottle and so fabulous on my nails! Plus, you can get these at just about every drug/department store.

Mini Gal Meet and Hong Kong Mall
Saturday I met up with Mina from Cherry Gal Circle and we went around houston for some bonding time. ^_^ Ha ha, we were having so much fun that I forgot to get a picture of my coordinate... I wore a gray and black plaid pleated skirt with chunky mary janes and knee high black ruffled socks. As you can see in the pic, I also had a my little pony shirt and a black sweater.
We went to the Hong Kong Mall first! I found a sweet Hello Kitty headband (which you can kind of see in the pic above) and we got some pictures printed at the purikura machine at the food court! I'll post pics of those later.

One Top - Two Looks: Polyvore!
I tried something new today! I took one top (the hollywood cut off and the olive tank) and tried to make two looks with it. :)
On the left side, we have a cute pom pom hat, with studded shorts and a leopard print belt. :) I love leopard print! The shearling accented boots are so awesome IMO, and a simple matching bag to bring it all together. Not so sure about the nerd glasses... but hey? Why not?

On the right side, I went for a more glamorous look. The captains hat is sassy, so I couldn't resist. Add a chic scarf and a cute ruffled skirt for something more girly... then Bam: some really rocking ankle boots! I saw these and thought "Lady Gaga". :) Then a fabulous clutch for a look that would be perfect for a night out.
What do you think? Good or Bad? Be honest...
