Plumprimo x LaFarfa order - DreamV Rakuten PLUS size

I made my first order from the Plumprimo x LaFarfa line offered by DreamV on Rakuten. Mitsu blogged about it here, and I'm so glad that many Japanese fashion lines are starting to offer all sizes! The clothes are cute, but not omg unique remarkable styles. A lot of the items can be used for Onee or Sweet Gyaru coordinates. I started with just two items, because I want to see the how the fit and quality measure up.

I bought these chiffon shorts in black, size 5L-6L

I wanted the red, but since it was sold out, I got the black gingham in 6L

The model is from popular plus size magazine LaFarfa, and she is just too lovely!

You can find these items by going to the DreamV store here and entering "big size" in the search bar at the top (I found this was the quickest way to find all the items). I will post pictures when I get my package in, and coordinate a couple of cute Summery outfits with these pieces. Look forward to it!

My First Gyaru Vlog!

Just wanted to share a gyaru vlog I made last week. Its my first ever video, some leave anything constructive you think would help me in the future for making more videos please! I talk about some trends I think are important, what happened at the last gyaru meet, and do a quick review on some lashes and YSL candy gloss.

New Hat with a New Perspective

Sorry for lack of posts! I've been busy with school, plus I've been in such a great mood. It doesn't sound like it makes a lot of sense, but I've been out and away from the computer/TV a lot recently.

:) Yep, so lots of getting ready and going out. Even if its just for school, dinner, the gym, or whatever - I've been getting out of the house as much as possible.

Found a great spike hat on ebay for only $16 and have been out showing it off, haha!

ahaha... crazy look was accidental

I just feel like I've got these rose colored glasses on and the world is at my feet. I think its because I should have my AA in Biology completed by December - then its on to the next chapter!

DIY cat ear beanie with spikes inspiration

So I saw this pic somewhere, probably tumblr, and decided to make my own! (Black cat ear beanie with studs - far left)

I just used some screw back spikes from ebay. :) Since it was a knitted beanie (also from ebay), I didn't have to cut any holes! I just stuck the screws through the little gaps in between the knit.

Yay for super easy! :D

Blue Crush

My best friend, Amanda, has always loved blue. It's never been my favorite color, but I'm starting to fall in love with it! I came by these pieces via ebay and a gal selling her JC shoes on Twitter. ^_^

I really love how these two seem made for each other.

Hahaha, this is pretty much my entire collection of luxury items, but I love them so much.

Recent gets

Here are some recent things I got ^_^ and I'm very happy with. The shirts are from F21, the ankle boots are from DOTS, and the jacket from JC Penny.

I love the way the boots look with a pair of jeans and the leopard cross fringe shirt.

The peter pan collared sweater is so soft :) and looks great with a black pencil skirt or jeans.

Jeffrey Campbell boots - for much less ^_~

I've always lusted over Jeffrey Campbell shoes. However at $100 - $200 a pair, I haven't been brave enough to spend that much on a pair of boots.

But here we might have a solution!! Check these out:

These are only $35 at Make Me Chic. :) In my opinion, this would be an excellent opportunity to try this style without shelling out lots of cash and killing your budget. They look like a combination of these two Jeffrey Campbell shoes below:

This is the Mary Roks by Jeffrey Campbell priced at $124.95 at SoleStruck.

This is the 99 Tie Glitter by Jeffrey Campbell priced at 139.95 at SoleStruck.

I purchased these since it was such a reasonable price! I will review and post pics as soon as I get them in. Of course, I've only heard and never experienced how a Jeffrey Campbell shoe fits and feels. I will try to convey a good review with as much information as possible though!

What's your verdict? Are these a suitable substitution or can nothing compare to Jeffrey Campbell shoes?

TREAT FOR ME - Louis Vuitton GET

It turns out I overpaid the hospital for my surgery, so I invested the money.

In a leather purse that will last me years and years.

I chose the Blue EPI Speedy by LV from an MPRS. I think this classic style and color pretty much goes with EVERYTHING. Just the right pop of beautiful color.

Sadly, I must wait 2 - 3 weeks for this darling.

The purse comes with the key and lock too. Lucky me!

Sweets Deco - Whipple Review

I found a really fun sweets deco set at ToysRUs a long while back, and I finally got around to playing with it. :) Here is my review of Whipple!

The box comes with stuff for you to already decorate - cakes, fruit, beads and whatnot. The fake whipped cream comes in a resealable pastry style bag. Here is what I have played with so far.

I really like this macaroon as its a charm as well! :)

I took it a step further and decorated a clear cell phone case and embedded goodies straight into the whipped cream. Hahaha... my man says it looks like I'm talking to a piece of cake!

Think of the possibilities! :) You can deco the tops of containers, like eyeshadow, hair clips, headphones, pocket mirrors, just about anything!

NYX cosmetics at HauteLook

I don't usually blog about this sort of thing, but it was honestly too awesome to keep quite about. NYX is on crazy sale at Hautelook (go here). Huge eyeshadow palettes are less than $30, glitter palettes less than $20, and a super cute cupcake lipgloss set for less than $10, just to name a few of my favorites.

You would be stupid crazy not to at least check this out.

And you best believe I snatched up the glitter palette. ^_^

Super NYX sale!

Purikura Book - Sticker Gets! Plus ETC

So sorry for the lack of posts! Christmas has been fun and very busy with lots of other stuff going on. Just wanted to share some of the cute stickers I found for my Purikura Book! ^_^ All these goodies for only $10 at Target.

Yay for GETS! Maybe a Christmas present post later?

Fair warning! The following blurb is not GAL related!

I've officially signed up and registered for classes! I will be taking Math, History, and English. After this semester, I will consider working part time and try to go to school full time. My first class is on January 19. Wish me luck! ^_~

Also, a very good friend of mine will be moving into a bigger place with me and my dear. We will be both attending the same classes together, and splitting rent will be a big help to pay for school!

Furthermore, after having fake nails consistently for the past six months or so, I've decided to give them a rest this January and start back in February.

Anyone else have exciting news for the new year coming up?

Christmas shopping at the Galleria

Made an evening at the Galleria with my dear Mark and friend Ivan. :) Just a pic of my outfit. Of course I had to stop by the Sanrio store! We roamed the arcade for a bit as well.

Here we can see Mark in the background twirling his mustachio and Ivan pretending to be in a fighting game. How silly!

Afterwords we went to DunoBaby for tapioca. Heheh... try to ignore the wierd look on my face please! I scored a new pencil case, 3D stickers, and a scheduler. YAY :)

Hopefully, you guys have finished your shopping by now... Christmas is right around the corner!!

Winter Hat

Just ordered this cute winter hat online! White fuzzy Mickey ears - so cute!

Mickey ears are always super cute, even though bear ears are trending right now. However, since I am still a bit new to Gal, I thought I would go with a classic.

Not sure if I like the holly berries and leaves, but I'm sure I can take those off.

Waaaaa...! I'm so excited! I can't wait for this to get here. Should be arriving in early December... so long to wait!!

Looks so soft and warm... ^_^

Jewelry Gets

I went to trader's village in Houston and scored a some sweet stuff! Trader's village is a big open air market with tons of people selling anything imaginable. I literally spent all day there and barely saw everything.

This my "CC" necklace. It's so pretty! I highly doubt this is Chanel, but I love it anyway. ^_^

This is my favorite purchase: a matching ring and necklace set of Choco Cat!
Hee hee... I love anything deco.

I haven't worn the Choco Cat yet... but soon! Very soon.... :)

Super MAC Haul - PIC HEAVY

I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves.

Nails

Remember my post about the ebay purchase of a lash case?

My Dolly Wink lash case has arrived! Well, it got here a couple of weeks ago, I just haven't posted pics yet. So - here it is!! SO adorable; I love it!!

It's spacious and has a separate compartment for tiny individual lashes... or maybe even to soak your lashes in some cleanser?

Like I mentioned in my previous post, you can find lots of Dolly Wink products on ebay. Just type "Dolly Wink" in the search bar. You will be pleasantly surprised. :)

Shiritaki Noodles

I ordered some zero calorie and zero net carb noodles from MiracleNoodle.com to supplement my diet efforts. Supposedly... this is how asian people are skinny? I don't believe it. However, this seems to be a healthier alternative to pasta. So, I'll give it a shot!

All you do is rinse in a colander with cool water, then place in boiling water for a couple of minutes, and then you can eat it with your favorite sauce or stir-fry. I first tried this with marinara. The taste was definitely not like pasta, but it was OK. I think I need to try more dishes to see how it works out.

Anyway, here are some pics of the noodles and their info.

And for cute-ness, here is Allison in the packing box. :)

By the way... is anyone else out there on a diet before the holidays kick in?

Dolly Wink Purchase

I couldn't resist any longer... I had to have this adorable eyelash case by Dolly Wink!! I purchased this hot item from ebay for about $10. I love the pink and black polka dot design with the super kawaii bow!

You can get lots of Dolly Wink products easily on ebay. I have seen lashes, lash glue, eyeliner, etc ranging from $10 to $20.
