Purikura Book - Sticker Gets! Plus ETC

So sorry for the lack of posts! Christmas has been fun and very busy with lots of other stuff going on. Just wanted to share some of the cute stickers I found for my Purikura Book! ^_^ All these goodies for only $10 at Target.

Yay for GETS! Maybe a Christmas present post later?

Fair warning! The following blurb is not GAL related!

I've officially signed up and registered for classes! I will be taking Math, History, and English. After this semester, I will consider working part time and try to go to school full time. My first class is on January 19. Wish me luck! ^_~

Also, a very good friend of mine will be moving into a bigger place with me and my dear. We will be both attending the same classes together, and splitting rent will be a big help to pay for school!

Furthermore, after having fake nails consistently for the past six months or so, I've decided to give them a rest this January and start back in February.

Anyone else have exciting news for the new year coming up?

Hello Kitty at Sephora

It was only a matter of time before Hello Kitty landed a line at Sephora (remember when it was MAC?). With a mid-January debut the anticipation is too much! I remember way back when, hanging out at the local gift shop, where there was a HUGE Sanrio display and I would beg my mom to get me a Hello Kitty lip gloss to match my scented heart rings that were made out of the same plastic as the glitter jellies stinky sandals.

So yeah, not much has changed at this point besides the location (Sephora) and who is paying (me). Some of you may have been lucky enough to shop the private Beauty Insider sale this weekend, but if you’re like moi and neglected checking email until last night when the sale was over, then you only need to wait a couple weeks for the product to hit stores!

Christmas shopping at the Galleria

Made an evening at the Galleria with my dear Mark and friend Ivan. :) Just a pic of my outfit. Of course I had to stop by the Sanrio store! We roamed the arcade for a bit as well.

Here we can see Mark in the background twirling his mustachio and Ivan pretending to be in a fighting game. How silly!

Afterwords we went to DunoBaby for tapioca. Heheh... try to ignore the wierd look on my face please! I scored a new pencil case, 3D stickers, and a scheduler. YAY :)

Hopefully, you guys have finished your shopping by now... Christmas is right around the corner!!

A new fashion site for me

Browsing the net today instead of starting work... I found this fun site - http://lookbook.nu/ - that has given me lots of coordinate ideas (one below). You can even sort coordinate posts by brand of clothing (ex. F21 and H&M) so you can really put your new found ideas to work.

I really liked this coordinate posted below. Socks and heels can be cute if done right, flirty skirt, fedora, and the over sized scarf looks so warm and cuddly. ^_^ This is something I would wear for sure. Hahaha... makes me want to spend a day digging through the racks at my local thrift store. Fun times!

Cheery Gal Tea party - pic spam!

My recent gal meet was tons of fun! We had a tea party, played Taiko Drum Master, and went for some Purikuri. My friend Amanda came to check things out and has decided to join the gal-sa - YAY!

We did a Hime themed tea party. SO much fun.... and here's something interesting: I made my dress.

The first time we headed over to Planet Zero they were closed! We went back home, and I called to get their hours... and they were open! @_@ Say what? Crazy hours are crazy (and not posted correctly). We went back for the Miss Doll machine - totally worth it!

But all is well that ends well. ^_^ Now enjoy the pic spam!

Gets - pic spam

As promised, a gets post! Lots and lots of pics... A trip to the mall a month ago has seriously increased by casual gyaru wardrobe choices. I got my items from F21 (most), Old Navy, Shasa, and Hot Topic.

Leopard print faux fur coat online at Torrid - My fav purchase... SO SOFT.
And me trying out the Hime style bump (no curls). I think bigger next time, haha. ^-^

My first Usamimi -- found the last one at Shasa for only $1

Free sized top from F21 - Super comfy, and I love the rhinestone detailing on the L's.\

Black lace sweater from Hot Topic - I think I will cut this up to make it more interesting.

Pink sparkle tee from Old Navy - I couldn't resist. ;)

Another top from F21 - easy to do a Rock style with this.

Stripe and lace bow top from Hot Topic - this shirt looks great with a vest and skirt!

Long Sleeve from F21 - another casual and comfy top; looks good with skinny jeans or skirt.

Hello Kitty tee from F21 - another "I couldn't resist". Wish I would see more ChocoCat!

Well Gals, its much too late for me. Off to bed! Just one more day and then happy fun weekend time! Stay strong and maintain!

Winter Hat

Just ordered this cute winter hat online! White fuzzy Mickey ears - so cute!

Mickey ears are always super cute, even though bear ears are trending right now. However, since I am still a bit new to Gal, I thought I would go with a classic.

Not sure if I like the holly berries and leaves, but I'm sure I can take those off.

Waaaaa...! I'm so excited! I can't wait for this to get here. Should be arriving in early December... so long to wait!!

Looks so soft and warm... ^_^

Torrid Gal Finds - pic spam

OMIGAWD... So torrid is having a great sale on clearance items now. Yeah, I'm kinda chunky and wearing a size "0" is kinda weird... but look at all this awesome Gal stuff I found!

On my GalCir forums, I had someone asking about Gal on a budget. It's totally doable! While we all want that new such and such that costs a bazillion dollars, you can still find some great stuff in some unexpected places. And I LOVE clearance... such a rush!

Everything here is under $15, except my fav piece: this leopard fur coat for only $18.

Check it out here!

My favorite piece... only $18. WOW, just wow.

Full fur vest - Doesn't it look so warm and luxurious? Yay for fur trend!

Plaid! I love plaid, as it is trendy and great for the Rokku look.

Fur trimmed vest - a fun way to add the fur trend to a simple coord.

Simple black pants go with everything, plus keeps your legs warm. ^_^

Bow detail on the sides is so cute!

Olive shorts - easy to coordinate with blacks or browns.

Leopard sequin top - so flashy!

So... anyone else trying to do Gal on a budget? What are some great places for you to find Gyaru clothing at some seriously awesome prices?

'Cause girl... my nails cost money, and I want to have it all: clothes, shoes, nails, jewelry... @_@
Haha... my wallet is in tears.

Dress: Old Navy
Leopard cardigan: Kohls
Belt: DOTS
Purse: LYDC (with leopard scarf)
Leggings: Ebay (from Korea!)
Shoes: Payless
Accessories: Chococat ring and necklace, rhinestone bangle

Haha... my makeup melted off so please don't look! ;) What do you think? Critique?

Blog Challenge FAIL

OK - So I have totally failed to post everyday, but I will persevere! This will be a catch up post. :)

A hobby I have... *embarrassed* Dungeons and Dragons. It's fun! I swear!

Behold the nerdiness:

And now, a picture of something that impacts you...
I present to you all: my honey bear, Mark.

He always supports me in whatever crazy thing I want to try out. Plus, he keeps me sane and grounded when I try to make things spiral out of control and into space. He even looks through mag scans with me and laughs at Gal Secrets every week with me. He takes me shopping and carries all my heavy goody bags. He constantly inspires me to try harder and be better at everything! *love*

And a short term goal this month! I plan to finish all my Christmas shopping by the end of November! December can be time to relax and enjoy the holidays. :) And with Black Friday coming up... FUN!

Some place I've been recently

The Houston Zoo! There was so much walking and things to see! It spent all day there. I crawled through the aquarium tunnel - tons of fun. ^_^

And my fav part was the Meer Cats... So adorable!

Just a quick post for the Blog Challenge... I'm off to the mall! :)

LED Eyelashes

LED eyelashes could be the next big thing! This would be perfect for a night out on the town, whether you are shopping, dancing, or out at the bar. The power source looks like earphones, so it would be easily concealed under hair. Designed by artist Soomi Park.

This LED Eyelash features an inclination sensor with mercury to turn on and/or off. The sensor can perceive the movements of the pupil in the eyes and eyelids. If someone wears it and tilts her head, the LED Eyelash will flicker following the movement. I wonder of the mercury could damage your eyes?! @_@

Another benefit that I can think off when wearing this LED Eyelash, you can use it as torchlight at night. Very cool!

Here’s a video about the stunning LED Eyelash.

Could this be the next trend?? I kinda hope so...
