Pink Nails

Here are some of recent nails! I did a pink glitter base, and then I added some 3D parts.

I've been quite busy with school, so this is a short post...
However, I have been getting stuff together to do a giveaway on my blog! I'm really excited since this will be my first giveaway. I have some really great stuff to gift out, so look forward to the giveaway post in a few weeks!

FOTD and Seussical the Musical

For my Theater class we are to write a paper critique of a major performance made at the college. I took Mark with me to see Seussical the Musical. Even though it had a rough start, it was really good and we had lots of fun! It was a really cute production, and you should see a performance if you get the chance.

I had time to do my makeup for the night as well, and I got lots of compliments for the drama kids at the theater! \^_^/

It always looks like I don't wear blush in pictures even though I put on quite a bit originally. Haha, maybe it wears off?!

Also, I am just finishing up with midterms. So far I will all my credits for my biology degree by the end of this fall at the latest (maybe even this summer). Then I shall start nursing school! I'm already looking forward to that time...

Gyaru Secrets and Valentines

I showed up on a post in the gal secrets community, but from the comments I didn't feel like most people agreed with the attitude of the original poster. There were actually a few encouraging comments tbh!

I wonder who posted the secret...?

Then I was posted on gyaru valentines after that happened, which was really sweet! <3 p="">

So, thank you very much to the person with the kind words! I will keep doing what makes me happy!

BIG curls and Don Picos

I went out for margaritas this past Saturday with some friends and had so much fun! I had some time to get ready, so I practiced making big curls in my hair for the night. I am still getting used to using so much hair spray and teasing to get the results I want! At one point someone said my hair was trashy, and then just after that I am hearing that it was beautiful! What a world... @_@ I just replied that I was "trashy fabulous"?

I got to hang out with my sister and her boyfriend who happens to be one of my best friends. ^-^

Lots of people were there including a friend from high school and Texas A&M.

Mark and I drank 3 margaritas each! Haha, we had so much fun just hanging out with everyone...

This was also the first time I wore two pair of upper lashes at the same time. I think it turned out really well. :)

The next day I went and got a massage and pedicure with a really sweet girl friend of mine. We had a wonderful relaxing day that was perfect to wrap up the weekend!

Makeup Tutorial

Hey gals! I have done a makeup tutorial - its not very good, but it is my first! The lighting was really bright, so maybe next time I will try to film in the bathroom? Haha we shall see!

Phat Gyaru - aka Fat Gals

So I know this is a weird topic, but lets talk about Fat Gyaru.

There is a lot of fat bashing in the Gal Com, and its totally not surprising... but its disappointing.

I guess what I really want to say is that Gal Secrets probably scares off or turns away a lot of prospective gals! I mean, there isn't a huge amount of US gyaru to begin with.

I'm going to make a video on this so it doesn't turn into a huge long blog post, eheheh.

Obviously I'm a Fat Gyaru, but I feel like the self confidence I've gained from the style has really helped me to stay on target with eating right and exercising more.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, even though you may not think you are pretty enough or skinny enough or anything enough you should do what is best for you and what makes you happy.
